Has anyone experienced clotting around/after ovulation?

I believe I experienced a chemical pregnancy in my last cycle. Period started April 8th, and the past 2 days (cycle days 18 & 19) I was experiencing spotting. I had been hoping it was implantation bleeding but it seemed too early for that. I chose not to chart or take any ovulation tests this month, but just to see what happens. Well last night (cycle day 19) after sex, I passed a clot. It was all by itself with no other blood. Could this have been residual lining from the chemical pregnancy? Would it have any impact on whether or not I can conceive this month?
