I've had two laps. One was November 2013 (diagnostic) and one was April 2014 (treatment). I have had some weird cycles (longer, shorter), but then I've often had weird cycles anyway. Mine range from 18 to 35 days. I've also had IVF and i found that being on the hormones also alters my cycle lengths a bit. Not sure exactly what you want to know, but feel free to look through my journal to entries from around that time. I remember feeling really rough initially with issues around nausea, urination and constipation being key worries. I also worried about hairs that had been sewn into a stitch and fearing that one of my stitches had opened. Some of how you feel and your recovery depends on the work done. I had a hysteroscopy, biopsies and scraping of the uterus that coincided with Day 1 of my period. I had quite a lot of work done on the second lap and felt burning sensations for about a week after. Hi Mammoth. So, have you been ttc for 2 years since your last lap? My cycles have been the same (normal) before and after my lap, except my last period was horrendous. If we are unsuccessful in the next 3 months we will try insemination.
