I can't say I have any advice yet, but we are going to the gp today, we've had 12 unsuccessful conception, but fun trying months. I can let you know how our appointment went this evening if you'd like?

The doctor was surprisingly proficient, didn't labour on weight issues (bmi 30) or smoking or alcohol units per week, etc. He listened to our concerns, my husbands mother required a degree of help ovulating, although I have a limited knowledge of genetics and don't think that should really be an issue. Anyways I digress, I've to have full bloods taken and a day 19 progesterone blood test on Friday (based on 26 day cycle). My hubby has to do his thing in a pot, surprisingly it's to be no more than 1 hour old and delivered directly to the maternity hospital. He has referred us to the fertility clinic. We have to keep doing the needful as normal, and we'll wait and see if we need more tests. I hope that helps? I certainly feel better just knowing that it's ok, and we've shared our concerns.

We should keep in touch. I can't tell you how well I slept having gone to the GP. As I say I've bloods on Friday and hubby has his appointment next Wednesday, so it's started moving at a good pace! I hope you have as positive an experience.
