I've never tested out my trigger shot but have had it done three times now; my RE always says to wait 14-15 days and if AF doesn't show then take a test. Sadly I've never even made it the full 15 days before AF arrives so no need to test! But I know many women will test it out starting a few days post trigger and watch the line get lighter until it's basically gone then wait a few more days and start testing for pregnancy. As far as when the trigger is supposed to make you O, it should happen within 24-48 hours with 36 being most common. I would start BDing within 24 hours and just continue for several days to ensure you cover all bases! Best of luck and tons of baby dust to you!

Thank you for your response. I'll see what my dr says on Friday when he does my follicle check.
All my labs came back completely normal (which I'm VERY thankful for) at least now I know I'm still ovulating well for my age (37) that was one question he has that's now answered...yay!!

Im on my second cycle with HCG trigger. Last month it made my period longer (usually only 3 days). I am 38 years old and TTC for over a year. All previous tests came back normal. My eggs are still plentiful and good quality and DH sperm is good also. Got another trigger on Monday and decided to do IUI on Tuesday due to possible thin uterine lining and little CM. Also started progesterone 200mg twice a day. Praying this will be our BFP!!! I was instructed not to test until 14dpo. So I will patiently wait till then. Last month AF showed at 14dpo and I tested negative. Good luck!!
