Bleeding Around time of Ovulation
Hi there -
My husband and I are only on our second month of trying to conceive. I've been off the pill for 3+ months.
Last month I took two early respsonse pregnancy tests a day before my period was supposed to show - both negative. Period showed up two days later. Last for three days (started on April 1) I'm now on cycle day 14, getting close to ovulation if not there already, and I'm bleeding. When i went to the bathroom, It's definitely heavier than spotting (like the start of a period, red) and as of now (a few hours later) it's just light pink spotting. Also having slight cramping.
I always though abnormal bleeding was bad but then I've heard this could be a sign of being fertile. Or is this a period and my cycle is becoming irregular? We had sex last night, but I've never had something like this happen after sex.
Just want to see if anyone else is or has been I'm the same boat and how they went about still TTC.

An anovulatory cycle can have breakthrough bleeding mid month. I know that some people also spot during ovulation - but I didn't think it would be anything heavier than spotting. Or the least likely but still possible scenario you ovulated VERY early in your cycle and are now having implantation bleeding? I would go to your Doctor and they may want to check hormone levels with a blood test. Baby dust!
