I'm sorry about the possible chemical. It's hard, I know.
I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle. Basically what happened with mine was I started getting super faint lines around 9DPO. The test on 9DPO I just glanced at not expecting anything, didn't see an obvious line, thought "ok BFN. That's what I expected anyhow." and walked away. I'd left it on the bathroom counter so I checked it later and saw a super faint line. I took another test and watched it to see if anything came up in the time frame: super faint line. Took a few more and all had these super faint "am i imagining this?" lines. Over the next couple of days the lines stayed faint. They darkened a tiny bit on 11DPO and DH said he clearly saw a line. 12DPO they started getting more faint and then I started spotting 14DPO. Period started 15DPO.
All the lines were still there after the tests had dried.
