When a midwife dips a stick in my Urine and everything is normal what does the stick test for?

I went to the midwife today and she dip stick my urine, she said its all normal, what dos this mean, dos it mean any infections or protein? Not sure what it exactly means ?

The test is for glucose and protein which can indicate diabetes or preeclampsia mainly. If there's no colour change on the stick, there's no glucose or protein present. All the best.
