Question on ovulation, my first time for all this, just unsure on testing!
So today was my first for sure postive ovulation test. The test line was darker than the control line. Yesterday my result was positive but the same color as the control line so I know for certain today was positive. My question is how soon will I ovulate? Sorry I feel dumb asking but this is my fiancee and my first time trying to get pregnant and I have had fertility issues in the past and this cycle I used clomid. So I'm just wanting to be sure I don't want to miss the time I am going to ovulate. Sorry for ranting, please opinions thanks!!

U should attempt to ovulate 12-48hrs after ur first positive (yesterday's test). It can happen earlier or later...or not at all. The ovulation test only indicates a surge in hormone, it's not a confirmation that it actually happened. What days did u take the clomid and what day in ur cycle was yesterday? I ask becuz if u test too soon after ur last clomid dose, u can get a false positive and end up missing ovulation.
Definitely start bd'ing asap.
Good luck! =))

Ah ok. Yeah u start testing 3 days after ur last pill and avg range for ovulation is 5-10 days after the last dose...ur def in range for that. Being ur first cycle, u may even feel the process...it can get painful, so don't be alarmed. Make sure to bd for the next few days. If u track cervical mucus, it should change consistency. Most commonly to a creamy or milk texture or dry up completely. It varies per woman. U also may wanna read up on bbt, it can be used to confirm ovulation in future cycles...it's a bit too late to add it now tho.

Thank you very much you have been super helpful! I definitely started cramping today a bit. Not too intense but for sure some discomfort almost like menstrual cramps. I appreciate your response thanks again! I'll definitely keep posted on here in a few weeks to see if I get a positive pregnancy test! :-)

Ur very welcome! I should add that the cm I described is what it changes to after the egg is released. That mucus is driven by progesterone production (which is released from the leftover follicle the egg comes out of). The mucus u want with ovulation is a clear and watery or clear and raw eggwhite texture. Hopefully u didn't get too confused by all this. It gets easier.
Good luck!! =))
