CM / corpus luteum question?

So I am about to enter 6dpo, the last 2 days I have have creamy CM when I've checked but when I look on the paper it has a pale tint to it almost a yellow colour.( Defo nothing sinister as completely checked and clear. )

A friend of mine told me that the corpus Luteum can cause the yellow tint to the CM, was hoping someone could confirm or explain a bit further. I can't find much online.
