Trying to conceive shortly after Miscarriage ...advice needed!!
I recently had an early m/c at 5 wks 4 days. It was a blighted ovum so no fetus just a gest sac. I m/c naturally and i am now at the end of process. Bleeding was minimal throughout this whole experince and cramps werent too bad, surprisingly. I am now just spotting brownish and would like to start ttc asap. However, I am still showing POS on HPT. When will my hcg levels be at zero? Do I need them to be zero to ovulate again? Can I be ovulating now? I took an opk as well at it says Im surginh but I think it from the HCG hormone still. Anyone have experimce with this? I dont want to wait a whole cycle (and get my period) especially bc many say you are very fertile after m/c. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello, firstly I am really sorry to hear about your loss. I had a mc 3 weeks ago today, at 7+2. I bled for about 8 days, and only had very mild cramping. I kept testing to see if my hgc levels were going down, and 10 days after the mc, my tests were showing negative. I then tested using an ovulation test, and that too was negative. On Thursday morning (18 days after mc)I started having ovulation pains, so out of curiosity I done a test. I had a very faint line, so tested again in the evening and it was a very strong positive. I also used a clearblue test which came out positive. I was very surprised to of ovulated already! You could well be ovulating...! I'm sending lots of baby dust to you xx

I'm sorry to hear about your loss too. I had an ectopic in August, but I continued to have periods and ovulate while waiting for my hCG levels to drop after being treated with methotrexate. My levels didn't hit 0 until end of October, but I continued to ovulate like clockwork - OPK's and temping confirmed it. So yes you very well could be ovulating! Good luck! xx
