M/C at 6 weeks, want to try again asap!
I just confirmed I am miscarrying. The gestational sac measure 5 wks 4 days (blighted ovum) but I have had spotting for a few days and HCG levels are desending. Started bleeding a bit more today and cramping. Nothing crazy to be honest. I thought this was going to be terrible but so far it has been managable (thank goodness bc I have 3 other children to chase after) My husband and I would like to try again to get pregnant. Can I start using my ovulation tests again? Would today be considered the 1st day of my new cycle? Should I take HPT to make sure i am not testing pos still? Sorry, I have so many questions. This is my first m/c so I am a bit confused (and shocked to say the least). I understand that my body knew something was wrong and there fore did not allow it to develop. I just want to be pregnant again! I have read you can be very fertile after a m/c and I dont want to miss out opportunity!! Thanks all

I'm sorry for ur loss. With mine, my Dr had me go in for wkly betas to be sure levels went back to zero. I continued testing with some cheapies til they went neg then got a call that my beta was below 5. When it hit that, I started a bleed again. I counted that bleed as cd1 and O'd approx 2wks later.
I would suggest u test out ur hCG to negative. Make sure ur using the same type of hold for each test so there's not a lot question in results. When ur tests go negative, ur blood should be neg shortly after and u may bleed again. That bleed is cd1. U may not bleed tho and may just go straight to prepping for O. Everyone has a different process for a loss, hopefully ur levels drop fast. Mine were fast from 2600 to 250, but from 250 to below 5, took weeks. It sucks but u will get through it. Take time to heal, it's a lot to swallow mentally.
