Were these pregnancy cramps? What did your early cramping feel like?

The past 2 nights while laying in bed I could feel pulling/pinching/twinges starting at my ovaries and working their way in. I also literally felt like my uterus was being stretched. It definitely didn't feel like any menstrual cramps I've ever had. I have not had an official BFP, so I'm wondering if these were early pregnancy cramps?
