Random bleeding about a week - week/half before expected period?

I have been off birth control since August of 2015 and have been having normal, 28-29 day cycles. My last cycle was from 1/18-1/22. My boyfriend and I have unprotected sex and do around the time I ovulate. My cycle calendar said between 1/28-2/2 that I would be fertile/ovulate. But on 2/4 I noticed light pink spots when I wiped. It became brown with mucous, somewhat red.. Lasted for about 3 days. Was light then medium then light on and off. Cramps were mild, nothing like my period cramps! My next period is 2/15. I need assistance! Does this sound like implantation bleeding?? I've never experienced this before.
