Question

HCG level is at 6. Am I pregnant?

My home pregnancy tests were quesionable but I thought they may be positive. I asked for a blood draw and they said I would have to go back in a week because my level was only a 6. They said anything less than 5 is negative and greater than 25 is positive. Has anyone had low levels like that? I've had a lot of cramping and some brown discharge today. Thoughts anyone? I need advice :(

I have had low levels like that twice and both times I experienced chemical losses. The first time it was 5, then 15, then 40 so it was doubling great but very low. But then it only got up to 70 so it didn't double and from there it dropped. The second time it started at 6, then only 9 and I knew it was over then. I had spotting both times and was getting faint positives on hpts even with hcg levels under 10.
