Is anyone else pregnant after an iud and terrified they'll lose the baby?
I had mirena for 3 years. No problems with it until right before I had it taken out. I was feeling a lot of cramping on my right side with no bleeding. After an exam and ultrasound they found that the pain was because my mirena had tilted up into my uterus. It took us 3 months to conceive (not a long time at all,) but I just worry it did more damage than I actually know of and that it'll make me lose my baby. Am I being paranoid about this? Or is there anyone else dealing with this too?

Wow! I totally understand what you're worried about. I had the Mirena for nearly 3 years and it had flipped around and embedded into my uterus, the dr never told me any details on it just that "we need to get it out right now". I was in so much pain after they fished around my uterus for what seemed like 30 minutes....she never told me any more about it. And I was in shock and never thought to ask.
This is our first month actively trying to get pregnant since that incident, so I don't have an answer for you but I do somewhat understand your worries because that is definitely in the back of my mind and I was going to ask at my next physical.
