You should use fmu for any hpt. Imagine using afternoon urine, not trusting the negative result and wasting another test. Or worse, believing you're not pregnant when you are. That happened to me one time and it was awful, I didn't know until I was showing because of a false negative. I'd recommend always using fmu for most accurate results. All the best.

No, u don't need fmu. Not everyone's fmu is concentrated. I drink a lot in the evening, making my fmu very diluted despite emptying my bladder before bed. I prefer to use smu and control the fluid intake and duration of time held, never once had a problem getting a positive on a stick or digi when pregnant. U have to find out what works for U, not what works for everyone else! My last 2 positive digis were at 8pm...time of day really doesn't matter.

Yer I think I needed to use fmu as I took a digital with evening urine and it came up "not pregnant " at 12dpo even though I have been getting positives on another brand from 9 dpo
