31 dpo

Im 31 dpo and over 2 weeks late for af. My bbt has been high for the past couple of weeks now. I ovulated early on the 31st of last month so i thought maybe that would cause me to miss af this month. I hate seeing negative hpt so i was waiting till mext month to see if af came. I did a opk last nigh and then this morning and they both came back positive. Can anyone tell me why that is? And would i miss af cause i ovulated early?
