Cancel IUI?
So this will be my 3rd time on letrozole but my first time doing the IUI. First time I produced 4 good follicules and I responded well. Second time I didn't respond but they found a polyp with I ended up getting removed. So this time around I only have one good one. On cd 10 it was only measuring at not quite 2 mm. I'm on cd 11 today. They want me to trigger tonight and do IUI on Friday (cd14). My follucule on cd 10 wasn't quite 2 mm yet. That doesn't seem big enough. What should I do???? do follicules continue to grow after they are released? Considering I'm supposed to trigger at 11 pm tonight? Please help!

Gosh, I personally think I would wait? But again, I'm not your dr. Do you have sperm issues? If not, maybe one egg is all you would need. I would check on size of that follicle again, maybe you heard it wrong. Yes the trigger will mature the eggs, but that seems small. Iui are pretty spend if the dr doesn't think you have a good chance. I'd definately call the dr. And try to get some more info....Good luck

I did 3 IUI's at one facility, and they often had me trigger at 12-13 mm. None of the IUI's were successful. The doc really didn't explain anything to me, just told me "do this at this time." The second doc I went to was SO much better! He explained everthing to us and answered any and all questions we had. We did 4 IUI's with him and he never had me trigger before 18 mm, but he really preferred 20 mm. Unfortunately, we were not successful with him either and are now on our way to IVF. Sigh... Good luck to you!
