Question

Is it possible to have higher concentrations of the HCG hormone in the afternoon?

I'm newly pregnant and have scheduled my first prenatal for Feb 18th. I'm being a little paranoid since this is my first, so I've been taking tests everyday to make sure all is well.

But I've noticed that even though I do get positive tests in the morning, I seem to get darker tests in the afternoon or evening.

I tend to feel more symptoms at night too. I've had mild to AF-like cramping but mostly in the evening. No blood, just cramping.

Is it normal?

Yup, all normal. Some women have more concentrated urine in the afternoon or evening, not to mention the hormone is constantly building so levels increase as hrs pass. Cramping is normal as well, the uterus has to prepare for ur tiny passenger to become a large passenger. This starts as soon as the egg implants. U may notice it more if ur not as active, cramping also increases with dehydration so make sure to keep up with fluids!!
Congrats! =))
