Question

Moms!!! Is this true???

I have just discovered today that I am pregnant. I'm 16. Completely unplanned. My mom was refusing to let me get on bc because she was in denial that I am sexually active, so now I'm stuck! I will not get an abortion but I am considering adoption. I have heard from various places online that getting pregnant young can make it harder/impossible to get pregnant in the future. I don't want to only have one child that I'm most likely not keeping! This scares me because I want children when I'm older and more mature. Moms, is this true? Can I have facts about teen pregnancy? And the risks, please. (Physical, not mental.) I appreciate it. Lots of love. :)

Hrmm I don't know where you heard that!! You getting pregnant now at 16 and in the future has nothing to do with anything. Your chances of getting pregnant does not decrease if you got pregnant young. That is irrelevant. You haveof likely a higher chance since you did indeed conceive.

Your pregnancy is just like anyone's. Just stay healthy.. Eat good.. Good to your Dr apts. If anything you are in a good age because you are indeed young and healthy. Usually. Unless any underlying health issues. Are you sure about giving your child up? If I were you, I'd think carefully of ALL your options.

I'm adopted. My birth mom had me when she was 14. She didn't decide to have more kids until she was in her late 20's and again in her early 30's. Take care of yourself. That's all you can do for both of you????

From what I've read, your chancing of having a baby later are BETTER if you have already conceived and delivered a child before. So, having this baby will make it easier for you to have a baby in the future, when you're ready. I agree, think of all your options carefully, but make the decision based on what's best for you and the baby. People will judge you no matter what decision you make. Also, look into family planning if there's one in your area. They will help with birth control even if you're not of age yet. Best of luck!
