Just got the call. HCG not looking good. Possible Ectopic says Dr.
So I just received a call from the dr office with my most recent hcg levels, along with an apology for the delivering the bad news. Dr wants me in first thing in the morning for another draw and an ultra sound to check if it may be ectopic. Not sure what to do or think or say. DH is great and just hugged me and said I'm sorry. No pain or bleeding.
My hcg #'s have been: 28(1/9) - 46 (1/11) - 59 (1/15) - 164 (1/18 ) - 431 (1/22)
Not sure if it matters, but they assume from my LMP that I should be about 6 weeks. I personally think that I ovulated and implanted later. My cycles are also 33-35 days. So I'm just hoping (silly i know) that they are just 1.5 to 2 weeks behind.
I know all the bad stuff. What should I know going in tomorrow. Any questions I should be asking? Things to watch for. Anything???

Your HCG numbers look good to me... I had slower rising hcg numbers with DD1 and my doctor told me to be prepared for a miscarriage or ectopic - then I had a scan and all looked good, just an early pregnancy. Really hoping you get similar good news when you have the scan tomorrow.

I think my doctor assumed I was at least a week or two further along than I actually was, when we went for the scan it was early enough that they could still only see the sac and no heartbeat yet - must've been less than 6 weeks along. We were rebooked for another scan a fortnight later and thats when we knew things were looking up. This was 11 years ago now so quite hard to remember but if your hcg levels are rising and you aren't having any heavy bleeding don't lose hope - doctors do get it wrong sometimes. Praying for a sticky bean for you.

Thanks so much ladies for the words of encouragement. It really means a lot that you have taken the time to answer.
Today's hcg was at 554, so still increasing. Nothing found on u/s, but that was somewhat expected with current hcg level.
Back on Monday for another draw and u/s.

I am going through something similar. My hcg on the 20th was 32, then 60 on 1/22 and now my latest one drawn 1/25 was 89. Doing another draw on Thursday to see. I had an ectopic in July 2014 and have been ttc since then. This is my first bfp since then. I'm hoping I'm just way earlier than I originally thought since my cycles are anywhere from 27 to 33 days.
