If you only had one day to BD, which one is best?
We recently found out that my husband's counts might take a bit longer to replenish (possibly 5 days). (Long story short, it's genetic and his brother discovered he had this problem when he and his wife were TTC.)
So... we need to time this try exactly right. I've been using opks the last few months, so I'll know when I'm about to ovulate. (I use both ClearBlue and Babi opks).
What day is best? The day BEFORE I should get a positive OPK? As soon as I get the positive?

Fertility Friend did a study of ~120,000 pregnancy charts and concluded that 94% of the charts showed sex either on the day of ovulation or the 2 days prior to ovulation. Fertility Friend stated that while the theoretical fertile window is about 5 days with those being days you "could" get pregnant, it appears as if the practical fertile window is about 3 days.
Since ovulation normally occurs 12-48 hours (with ~24 hours being "average") after a positive OPK I'd say to have sex once you get your positive OPK. Theoretically this should make your timing anywhere from 2 days before ovulation to the day of ovulation, depending on how quickly after the positive OPK you ovulate.
