Question

Too early to tell if I'm pregnant?

Hello, I am writing because I finished taking my first round of Clomid (50 mg CD 5-9) and am now on CD 22. I went into the doctor to take my 21 day progesterone levels, and I mentioned to the nurse taking my blood that I got what I thought was a positive OPK on CD13 (which means I ovulated on CD 14) and she said she would take some extra blood for an hCG test. I guess my question is, is it too early to test for pregnancy? I am only 8 DPO, but I guess it is a blood test... Any comments??

If the egg has implanted, there is a chance that a blood test could pick it up now.
However, I wouldn't take a negative result as a sure sign that you didn't conceive since implantation still has time to occur(up to about 12DPO).

Best of luck!
