It took me almost a year to have my first, but we were actively trying for our second for two months and got pregnant. So it just depends. I feel like I was a lot more relaxed the second time around and just try to enjoy sex rather than making it scheduled around ovulation.

Some things I think help....
Ovulation test strips the wondfo brand is cheap and work
Pre seed (Sperm friendly lube)
And the sperm meets egg plan. I believe stats sex every other day once you reach cd8, and then three days straight after a positive Opk then you skip and day and have sex again. Good luck

Thank you so much for replying. I am learning that relaxing is a huge part of getting pregnant and I am naturally not very good at that. I've never heard of the sperm meets egg plan. Thank you for suggesting that, I will be looking into it! :)

Fell on my first month with DS so on our 13th month trying for no.2....there's no rhyme or reason for taking so long 2nd time around I'm told, it's just in the hands of your starts! GL with ttc. Sperm meets egg plan is great, I have conceived on this but unfortunate had a mc but it's a great plan.x

We tried 9 months to conceive with both #1 and #2, but my cycles were very irregular and I could go two or three months without AF. I temped and charted with the first two, but that shows you when you've ovulated after the fact. With #3, I had been on Mirena for five years and then BCP for two months. We started trying in September and got pregnant in October, so it really depends on circumstances. I used temping/charting and OPKs this time around.

I just got my first positive a few days ago and it took us 17 months. We used the sperm meets egg plan the last the months and I drastically decreased my caffeine and alcohol intake

I got my BFP this morning! So I guess for me it took 1 month to conceive. Hoping this baby sticks!
