Question

Heavy bleeding 10 dpo with a few pregnancy symptoms

hi and pardon for my English.

I had unprotected sex on 17th Nov. Couple days later I started having symptoms such as nausea, cramps, constipation, breast tender.

I have been testing daily since day 5 dpo until now which is 12 days dpo result still Negatives. Tester brands mixed from dollar tree's, equate, walgreens, and First response.

On day 10 dop in the morning I had spotting and later in the evening the same day I started bleeding heavily.

When it happened, I first thought I need to poo but it is not. It is heavy blood falling down. They were 4-5 drops (a nickle size).

The blood came for 3 nights and gone. By the way, if i count this as my period. It must be a very early period (22 days from previous period).

I will be going to see the doctor for sure but please help tell me what this could be, because it never happened to me before

if for some reason this was the implantation bleeding your tests would not get positive for 2-3 more days.
for sure this is not a miscarriage (why are you posting in this section?)

Dear Bradipina,

Thank you so much for your comment. I chose to post it in this section because the bleeding didn't look totally like normal spotting or implantation. It was heavy, more like blood cloth.

I wish I could post the picture here, this might help

at 10dpo you cannot miscarry. even if your egg was fertilized it is microscopic and hardly implanted (no placenta either). (i have had 5 miscarriages at between 5 and 9 weeks, and 2 chemical pregnancies, trust me)
if you had had a positive hpt you could assume it was a chemical pregnancy, but you did not have even that. menstruation bleedings can vary from cycle to cycle, you may have built up some more endometrium this time. on the other hand 4-5 drops, even big ones, are not a "heavy bleeding", a heavy bleeding is when you have to change tampons/pads every hour or less. your case sounds like a small breakthrough bleeding to me.

also in case you wonder - the symptoms are not pregnancy symptoms.
there are three sets of pregnancy systems 1) caused by progesterone - fatigue, bloating, breast tenderness, etc., but progesterone is produced also normally in the second half of the cycle, this is what causes PMS, which is what you are feeling
2) caused by hcg rise - morning sickness, skin changes, breast growth by one cup at least and such, these start usually at week 6 or so, when hcg is high over 1000 - you cannot have these
3) caused by physical changes - the uterus grows to accommodate the foetus - cramps and ligature pains can result - you cannot have these, these do not start before week 6
