My temp dropped the day after my rise. Now it back down to pre o temps. Help :(

I had a positive opk on cycle day 17, then had a dip the next day and lots of ovulation pain. I was positive I ovulated. On cd 19 I had a good rise. Then today cd 20 went back down I'm so worried I didn't ovulate and maybe that's why I'm not getting pregnant. Has anyone had this happen and still ovulate? look at my home page chart, cd17, 98.12, cd18, 97.60, cd19, 98.42, cd20,98.02. I take my temp at the same time and before I move after waking. Any thoughts?

Give it a cpl more days to see where temps go, it could be a fallback rise. That's pretty common and happens in the 2-4dpo range. Keep bd'ing in case, but most likely ur temp will go back up tomorrow.

Oh thank you, I didn't know there was such a thing. Thank you so much for replying I am really worried and I've been through a lot to even be able to get pregnant. I had a tubal reversal done in July and when I was younger I had absolutely no problem having children. my age is definitely playing a role in this. I never charted when I was younger so this is my first time using the charting method to conceive.

Yeah, age definitely plays a role...just do the best u can with what u have, it'll happen! Chart looks good tho, don't stress it! =))

Hi Tina, I've only just started charting my BBT this cycle (unfortunately started late at CD 9) I got a positive OPK on CD15 and a dip on CD16 indicating ovulation and then a rise on CD17 and another rise on CD18 and then today I got another slight dip at CD19 so it's quite similar in a way to your chart. I'm hopeful the dip on CD16 and rise on CD17 is a good indication I ovulated this cycle. I unfortunately had a miscarriage in early Oct and think this is the first time I've ovulated since then.
