Question

Uterus pain excruciating!!

Last night I got a sharp pain in my right ovary for a few seconds then I had cramps quite sharp cramps for an hour.
Then at 5am I woke with excruciating pain in my uterus i felt like i was in 3rd stage labour i couldn't move. after some strong pain killers and half an hour later it subsided.
Last time this happened I was told it was my cysts that had come back ( i have pcos ) caused by clomid. Now I am 3dpo and had not on clomid. My last scana year ago showed boarderline PCOS.
Has anyone else experienced this? I will be going to my GP tomorrow to ask for bloods and scan for my PCOS to see what is happening.

This sounds like me! I have endometriosis which can only be diagnosed via a laparoscopy. Maybe you could ask your doctor if this could be the source of your pain? On the subjective pain scale, I usually hover between a 2 and a 3, however I have been at a 9 before my operation. I was actually screaming I wanted to die, and anyone that knows me knows I am a very positive person. It's a horrible disease and 1 in 10 women have it. There are 5 stages and I am at stage 5. Fingers crossed it was just a random occurrence but might be worth mentioning endometriosis to your doctor.
