Possibly a blight ovum
So here it is, I found out I was pregnant October of this year. Went to my ob thinking I was 9 1/2 weeks and got an ultrasound done. I was so excited, until the ultrasound tech says that she sees the amniotic sac but nothing else. I only measured in at 7 weeks which means I ovulated way late. I'm really nervous for my next ultrasound in 6 days. Anyone else dealt with this and still found a baby at the next ultrasound?

i had an empty sac or what they call blighten ovum about three years ago. Hopefully you just ovulated later or miscalculated and it is just too early to see a fetal pole. When I experienced this I did get pregnant two cycles later with a health boy so if that's the case don't give up, they say ou are even more fertile following a miscarriage if you are emotionally ready keep trying.
I was told that it was okay to try right away if I was emotionally ready because a blighten ovum isn't that hard on your body physically.
Good luck and fingers crossed that your next appointment goes better, you said you were only 7 weeks so could just be too early my doctor doesn't see you till 9 weeks because of this.
