For those who check your cervix, where is it normally at 3 days before af is due??
I don't normally check my cervix exactly, but I do notice that before af is due I can feel DH hitting my cervix. I'm just not sure how soon before af that your cervix is supposed to drop. I am 3 days from my monthly visit and I didn't feel anything tonight when we had intercourse. Is a high cervix an early pregnancy sign?

Hi there,
the cervix usually drops low after your fertile period is over but can vary until about 5-7 days before af starts, mine drops low 4 days after i ovulate and takes that position every morning til af is due. Like you though my cervix has moved up out of reach and i'm due for my af in 3-4days, so who knows it might be an early pregnancy sign but this is not the most reliable indicator of conception. The cervix can move up and down during the day with the activity of the body. It's important to only check the cervix once a day to reduce the possibility of infection and it changes and doesn't stay in the same position all day. I check mine in the morning. My cervix is pretty much always high during my luteal phase. 3 days before my period it's normally high, soft and closed. For what it's worth my uterus is retroverted (also known as tilted) so that may change positioning: I'm not sure.
Like Kmatla2014 said: cervical position is really not a very reliable indicator of conception/impending AF.
