Getting Frustrated with OPKs!
This is our second cycle of TTC. I've been using a first response digital OPK and have been testing since cycle day 5 like it said to on the package. I'm now cycle day 17 and no positive yet. Last cycle I ovulated CD 15 but I'm worried I missed this one. We've been BDing regularly but still not everyday. I'm not an obsessive person but I swear TTCing is bringing out some OCD in me. We got pregnant 3 years ago which ended in a miscarriage so we know we can get pregnant together plus I have a 5 year old daughter. But I'm always worried that the D&C I had with my miscarriage is going to prevent us from getting pregnant. Feeling like a crazy person! I guess my question is am I the only one feeling crazy and what's the latest you've ovulated in your cycle?

Hi Jillian,
Lots of things to think about here: how old are you? did you recently stop BC? are your periods typically "normal" and predictable? did you have any follow up (ultrasounds, sonohysterograms) from your D&C 3 years ago?
I would continue to test and track all of your data until something happens (+OPK, period, preg). Since this is only your second cycle TTC, there just isn't a lot of data to go off of yet; right now you're still in "fact-finding" stage.
I would also recommend, just for your own peace of mind and to get yourself in a more positive place, checking in and making an appointment with your OB/Gyn to discuss your worry about any possible side effects from your D&C. You can also talk about your unique situation (cycle variability, other things not mentioned/known from your post, etc). Those hidden stresses and worries can cause all kinds of unnecessary stress... exactly what you don't need right now.
Think positive :)
