Question

When did Nausea start with everyone?!

I'm only 4 weeks pregnant tomorrow, but with my first baby (4 years ago), I had sickness like crazy!! I don't exactly remember when it started though. People say usually if your going to get it, it's around 6 weeks pregnant?

Any thoughts? :)

For my first two, I started feeling a little nauseous around 5 weeks. I never threw up with either baby, I just always made sure i ate what i craved and never ate what I didnt want. And I didnt let my stomach get empty.

I started feeling hints of morning sickness (in combination with sensitivity to smells) 2-3 days before AF was due with all three confirmed pregnancies so far. With the first two (both losses, one was a girl) I started to feel pretty sick a few days after missed AF... as in near-vomiting if I got too hungry, which was horrible because I was hungry CONSTANTLY.

This time, I'm 5w4d and not feeling it like before. Only when certain smells/tastes disagree with me. It's normal for symptoms to vary from pregnancy to pregnancy, though, so you may not feel as sick this time around. :)

Some people get morning sickness from the start, others get it anywhere between then and 8 weeks or so. Apparently the "peak" time for it to start is 6 weeks. Not everyone gets it at all. I know someone who had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and had virtually no symptoms including no morning sickness.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I suggest checking out the sister site countdownMYpregnancy.com The layout is similar to this with forums, questions/answers section etc. but it's for women who are currently pregnant. You'll likely be able to find more support and better advice there for the duration of your pregnancy as many people here have never been pregnant.

I'm about 5wks and have only started feeling a little sick at my stomach the past day or two. I had a couple days where I had brief waves, but they really were brief. I definitely don't feel good if I get hungry, and like some others have mentioned, I'm hungry ALL THE TIME (that's actually getting better, too). I have a feeling it'll be starting up in earnest over the next week or so. I've gone from feeling phenomenal and full of energy to feeling pretty run down and kinda blah about everything, especially food.
