Question

Does clomid affect luteal phase length???

Hi, I'm 14 dpo today and still haven't started on my period. Usually my period comes like clock work exactly 14 days, after I get a peak fertility on the clear blue ovulation kit. This is my first cycle on clomid and I've had hot flushes at night but no other side effects. I got my 21 day progesterone tested and it was 35, which I'm told is a good number. Should I wait a few more days or should I do a pregnancy test. I am so sick of seeing the negative tests that I am tempted to wait a lil longer. Does clomid lengthen the luteal phase? Or could this actually be good news? Any info would be appreciated!

Could be either, but yes, it can increase ur LP. If ur worried about negs and know for sure u O'd on whatever day u think, then wait til the am of 17dpo and test if af hasn't arrived then.
Good luck! =))

Thanks Dakotagurl! Af arrived this morning! So depressing it is! I wonder when it will be my month. This is taking so much longer than I expected and is so much harder than I expected! Anyway I guess I just have to get on with it.
