Pregnancy test lighter than previous test
I have taken 3 test over 3 days. The first was quite dark but the 2nd (same make) was lighter. I have taken the last one today (different brand) and it was the same as the 2nd test. I worried that my hormones aren't increasing enough. I think I am about 6 wks. Am I just worry for the sake of it or do I have a genuine reason to be concerned

As the other posters have mentioned you need to use the same brand and FMU each time you test to have a good comparison.
I know this is so much easier said than done but: try not to worry too much about the test being lighter. There are a couple of factors that can affect how dark a line is. Some tests (even within the same brand) have slightly different amounts of dye as a normal variation between tests and so the lines will be a little lighter or darker. If your urine is more diluted (like if you drank a lot more water before going to bed, for example) that can also cause lighter tests.
As for how long you're waiting to test: hCG doubles approximately every 24-72 hours with 48 hours being the average. If you test 2 days in a row it's 100% possible that your hCG simply hasn't had time to double yet. As difficult as this may be I'd suggest not testing for a couple of days. If in 4-6 days your test is significantly lighter that's a bad sign. If it's darker that's great!

I also wanted to add (but I ran out of room!) that I'm so very sorry that you're going through all this worry and uncertainty. I understand how difficult it is to not know if everything is okay or not. And how hard it is to know you're completely powerless to do anything either way.
I really hope you get some answers soon to put your mind at ease and I hope it's good news!
Congratulations on the positive. Wishing you all the best.
