Question

OPK Confusion - Did I Miss Ovulation?

This is my first cycle using OPK sticks.
I have been testing both am and pm since CD9

CD 9, 10, & 11 (am only)- nearly stark white - no test line
CD 11 (pm), 12, 13 - visible line but only about half as dark as control line.
CD 14 (Today) - am - less visible line

I also just took another and the line is fading - even lighter than this morning's test.

I assumed the visible test line on CD 11, 12, & 13 was still a negative result as it needs to be as dark or darker than the control.

But now, it's fading... did I miss ovulation?

Are you using your first morning urine?

No I am not using FMU

My am test is done after 4 hours of being awake.

Don't stress it. Sometimes they fade out then u surge. Which opk's are u using? If they measure too high vs ur surge, u won't get a positive. Watch ur cm as well, it's a good indicator if u missed a positive...tbh tho, if ur testing twice a day and using good hold times, u more than likely didn't miss it.

I agree with Dakota. Also, a lot of women (myself included) do not ovulate on or before CD 14. My earliest ovulation was cd 16, and that was on Clomid. Also, my tests almost always get darker and then fade again before my surge. Keep testing like you are. Sounds like it should happen soon. Good luck.
