Question

What would be a reason for me not getting ovulation pain this month?

I get ovulation pain every month, but for some reason I didn't get it this month. Does that mean I didn't ovulate or could I of gotten pregnant?

I dont think the pain signifies anything of importance. If you are one who normally have regular cycles, then you should have ovulated whether or not you felt the pain. If this bothers you, and you want to really know, maybe for the next 3months use an ovulation kit to determine if you ovulate monthly; pain or no pain.

I did use opk I got + for 3 days, but I read a + opk doesn't necessarily mean you ovulate

U are absolutely correct, a positive opk does not guaranty an ovulation...only that u will attempt it. It's possible u didn't O, but u also may have but it might have been a weaker O (smaller, less matured egg) that didn't cause the same amount of pain. I would definitely consider taking temps next cycle, that way u can confirm when and if u O'd. Unfortunately, pain isn't confirmation either. I've had surges, pain, ewcm etc etc and not released an egg, only to surge again a week or so later, more pain, ewcm etc etc and then released an egg and confirmed with temps. Had I not been temping, I would've sworn I had O'd the first time and not made as much effort to bd. Def start temping!
Good luck! =))
