Iui cancelled
Can anyone help me. I'm on my first go of iui and produced 8 follicles. They cancelled the iui.. and I was told not to have asexual intercourse.. do I stick with the doctors advice or just go for it.. this is frustrating as I've been ttc for years now. And to me this seems like my most fertile time. Doctor didn't really go into detail with Me and I've very confused xx

On 1 of my iui rounds I had 6 mature follicles and my re wanted to cancel but I asked them if we could still try as my dh had a very low sperm count and iui wasn't likely to work for us anyways (we conceived via ivf). We did the iui but I had to sign a waiver stating that I understood the high risk of multiples and had been counselled on selective reduction. Basically it was a way for them to cover their butts and not get sued if I ended up with 6+ babies. If your partner has an average or higher sperm count you may want to take that advice to avoid sex. If you would 100% selectively reduce in the case that you end up with high order multiples you could give it a go. But if you wouldn't reduce or are iffy about it I would stay away from him!
