Question

Low HCG at 14dpo?

My hcg was taken yesterday at 14 dpo and was only 61. I've read that is low, and I've been cramping pretty bad since last night. No bleeding though. Should I be concerned?

You cant really tell anything by only the first number. When you get the second number, you can tell if it double every 48 hrs or not. 61 is a good number for only 14 dpo. With my second pregnancy, my first number was only 21.

Cramping is normal in early pregnancy. I actually didn't think I was pregnant until I was several days late because I didn't feel pregnant, I felt like aunt flo was on her way. Try not to read too much into HCG levels unless the doctor tells you you have something to worry about. 61 is well within the realm of normal. They'll run it again in a few days and it should double. As long as it doubles, your baby is growing normally. Congratulations :)
