Issue resolved! (tmi maybe)

Well I'd been having this light brown discharge for a week, and it was smelly. I was scheduled to see my doctor today but as I was on the toilet, what I thought was inflammation was a lost tampon. I felt something, tugged on it and out it came. So I am going to douche and wait for af on the 18th. I suppose there's no way to get pg with a tampon up there. It stops af from coming out so I suppose it would stop semen from going in. Just one ? How did we bd without issues? I read that a tampon can be lodged behind a woman's cervix. So, if that is the case then I wonder if a pg could still be possible. I have symptoms I don't get at anytime before af, like specific cravings and and dh telling me I'm pg Lol! I dunno, should I count myself out of the waiting game this month or not?
