Question

For those who use OPKs what to log?

If you are testing twice a day and you get a positive in the am and a negative in the pm (or vice versa), what do log in your chart, the positive or the negative? I have a short surge so this cycle I had a strong positive in the evening 8pm, and it was less strong but still positive the next am - fmu. I put positive for both days, but I was curious what others think?

with opk's the test line should be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive. So if its light then that would be a negative. You usually ovulate within 24 hours of a positive opk

As Jsand76 said, unless its as dark or darker then the control line, its negative. There is no less strong, but still positive when it comes to OPK's.

What I meant was that my evening test was positive with the test line darker than the control, and my morning test the test line was as dark as the Controls, does that make more sense? They were both positive, just one seemed more positive.

If they were both as dark or darker then the control line, then they would both be positive.

I got that, so when you have a positive and a negative opk on the same day, which one do you record? The positive or the negative?
