BBT doesn't work for everyone. My temperatures always run a tad high, and no matter where I was in my cycle, I consistently stayed around 99.6-99.8. I never once in any cycle experienced a dip or a rise. For some women charting can be a useful tool, but I wouldn't count yourself out yet just because your temperature dipped.
