Whats going on?
Hello! my 1st post and 1st time TTC. i am 40 :-( have on average 30 day cycle. currently on day 24, spotting and feeling sick for last 3 days. I have been using clear blue digital o tests for 15 days. had 4 days of circle and flashing smiley ever since no solid. DTD on CD15 and CD20. Took my BBT today for first time and it was 35.97 which is too low to record on the BBT chart i have! Assuming i didnt ovulate since i got no solid smiley and cheap OPK havent shown 2 lines. Whats going on? Anyone got pg without having positive o test?

Welcome to the struggle. As an older woman ttc, I suspect the low bbt, spotting and sickness is due to lo progesterone. I am 35, and ttc for 9 months. My temps were very low when I began charting months ago. I started a arsenal of vitamins and supplements, and now my temps are higher which in theory mean more progesterone. Start vitex and maca, uniquinol, b6, b complex, vit d3, dhea, and natural progesterone cream.

I had my first baby at 39 so you can do it. I conceived naturally but it took a while. I tried the O tests but they never seemed to work for me. i never got the full positive only the medium result. I used the CB Monitor. So we just winged it. We're trying for number two but I'm 42, so it's tougher. My only tip that worked for us, and this may be common knowledge, is that we make sure I orgasm after my husband. That way your cervix contracts into a pool of sperm. Best wishes...good luck.
