Question

Heavy pain and pressure in my uterus before and after a bowel movement???? Is this normal?

This pain feels like "im about to get my period" pains..which i have almost always..but atleast its somewhat tolerable...but this pain increases tenfold when i have a bm coming on. Nothing helps it go away....even after a bm it still is so painful...like sometimes takes my breath away. Im not straining or constipated in the slightest...if anything...i have more frequent bm's...lucky for me i even get these episodes at night when im sleeping...(never have before). The pain lasts sometimes 10 to 15 min...then slowly goes asY on its own...and my body feels almost lethargic and sleepyright after the pain subsides...like i could nap right away..lol...it takes alot outta me!!! No spotting just a bit of a very light brown discharge when i wipe sometimes...depends on if im straining a bit.

Ughhh... I have like atleast 3 bms a day now..but is this pain normal for 6 weeks pregnant???

I think it might be a good idea to express your concerns with a doctor as it sounds it could be quite a serious problem if you are in so much pain. it would be best for this to be looked at soon whilst you are not that far along in your pregnancy. I've certainly not had any experience of what you have described myself but if i were in your position i would seek out medical advice asap. hope the pain is sorted soon for your own comfort and so you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. good luck

Wow sounds so much like me and we are about the same time. I'm 7 weeks 3 days. I had a cyst ruptured on my ovary and now I have fluid and blood in my pelvis that is causing my pain like you're describing. Fiber has become my bff.

Apparently my OB said its because my uterus is a bit tilted back and is pressing on my bowels...thus causing the pain.. Luckcharm30..i had a few ultrasounds and everything looks normal :) i still have my corpus luteal cyst...which apparently is good yo have for nurtiring the baby intill the placenta takes over.. But yah he said its most likely my growng uterus and thats its tilted...eventually the uterus will grow upwards into my tummy and this pain will stop :)
