Could this be my 6th chemical? Test has gotten lighter throughout the day!
I will be 5wks along tomorrow. In the past 2yrs I've had 5 chemical pregnancies all ending between 4-6wks. Since then I've tested daily and have had great progression with my test line getting darker than with any previous mc. I did find I tested better in the evenings with a 3hr hold. But last night I began having more cramping different from what I'd been having to this point. It terrified me because it was similar to the cramps I'd had before finding out I was mc in the past. It felt like flutters, or bubbling with a lot of pressure and fullness. It continued until about mid morning. Not able to wait til the evening to test I took a test mid morning with no real hold.And it was the darkest result I'd had so far!! But when I decided to test later in the day after a 2hr hold and although my Irvine looked a little darker the test was lighter than the mornings! Panicked I tested again after a 3hr hold and it was lighter too! I'm beyond terrified it's my 6th mc in the works!

I wouldn't stress about it, you have the greatest hcg concentration in your urine first thing in the morning and it gets less throughout the day, so naturally test results get lighter later in the day. My advice would be only ever test first thing in the morning, then you can get a fair comparison. Good luck.

The dyes in individual tests of the same brand can vary. My hcg was rising just great in my last pregnancy but the colour of my test lines on my hpt's were all over the place in darkness! I know it's hard but try not to panic yet. Flutters, bubbles and sometimes pretty intense cramping (felt like I was about to start flooding) were a hall mark of all my successful pregnancies. I had far less 'activity' with my miscarriages. I'm crossing my fingers for you and just want you to know that I totally get your anxiety. There is every chance that you'll be fine :)

I have an appointment today to get my levels checked. I had to switch dr.s because the previous dr refused to do any testing to find out why I was continuously having miscarriages. My new dr immediately did a slew of bw and found my progesterone was low! So as soon as I got my first bfp I began taking the progesterone daily!
