Positive HPT, Negative Dr urine test, Period MIA, What gives?

I've had several, 5 I think, faint positive hpt's since 9/18 when AF was due and didn't show. Went to the doctor yesterday to request a blood test and the idiot did a urine test that was negative then tried to argue with me about getting a blood test. I've got 2 children that I never really got a bfp on urine tests when I was pregnant with them. The first time I was a little more than 6 weeks and the line was so faint it took 3 people to determine it was actually positive. The second time I was told I wasn't pregnant on a Monday, I requested a blood test be performed (same day as the urine test was done) and on Tues they called with positive blood results, and until I was almost 3 months along I never got that second line on a urine test. The next 4 children all got positive urine tests, same with the 10 miscarriages. Has anyone else had this happen and actually been pregnant?? I'm about to lose my mind here.
