Naltrexone & Pregnyl help for TTC success
Hi all I have been TTC for nearly 1 year non with no success (not one positive). I have now just seen a specialist doc and he has prescribed Naltrexone with Pregnyl to assist with conception.
I am just about to turn 30, in fit and healthy, have a regular period with no complications, both mine and my husbands blood work is fine and healthy.
The doc is calling me a 'hyper vigilant female'...over achiever of sorts, and some one who is a 'fixer'. This drug I believe will simulate my endorphin release to improve the ovulation process.
I will start the drug program in early October, I just wanted to know if anyone has done something similar to this, and what their experience was.
I know it's not very common and a fairly new approach, as the LDN drug is used on addicts to surpress their need/want for drugs.

I have taken this for the last 9 days last day today as my period lasted 16 days so it was taken to stop my bleeding , it worked! I have noticed my temps are higher than usual after ovulation so this is something to look for as I am guessing once I stop taking it that my temp will plummet as progesterone causes temps to rise,
So i'd be wary of high temps giving false hope to pregnancy but I could be guessing as I just asked about this here. good luck. I am hoping it will kick start my cycles but was warned if taken too many times it can cause infertility.
