Question

Sharp pains on left side... 4w1d

I just found out I was pregnant and I am at 4 weeks and the past 2 days I have been having sharp shooting pains on my left side from time to time when I stand up or move too fast. I have also had mild/dull cramps on the right side as well. Not where the uterus is... Closer to the ovaries.

Can anyone tell me what this is?
If they have ever had it?

I have had 3 MC... I am so nervous!!
I had mild cramping when I first found out. I know that is probably my uterus growing.

Congrats! I really hope this one goes well all the way to the birth of the baby.

As you probably know, cramping is normal. But if they stay sharp I sugget you visit your gyn.

It's completely normal to experience ovarian pain in early pregnancy, especially from the side where you ovulated. I think I ov'd from my left side with this pregnancy and, while I had some sharp aches on both sides, it was a lot worse and more frequent on my left side. It lasted for two or three days and was, I think, in my 6th week (currently in my 11th).
