Question

early and short period

I stopped taking birth control three months ago when we started ttc and the first two months I had 35 day cycles which I never had before I started taking birth control..this month I expected again to have a 35 day cycle and planned my ovulation accordingly, however i started on day 31 with a lot of brown blood which then turned into normal period blood it seemed so I just assumed I started my period early, but it was only 3 days long and I have been sick the entire time, nauseous, no appetite and just felt absolutely terrible. Is this just a bad period or do you think I could have been or could be pregnant still? And how can i guess my cycle lengths now if they change up every month?

First off- have you done a hpt?
Secondly- you can't really guess your cycle lengths if they are changing. Mine used to be regular but now change every month by a few days. Are you using opks? That's probably the most accurate way to pinpoint ovulation. Hope that helps.
