Can healthy eating affect ovulation???
This month i decided to change my diet, I have been going the gym and eating healthy to lose weight to increase my chances of conceiving.
However, this is my 2nd month using OPKs and i have been taking them every day so i can get a good track.... but i have just got a positive OPK a week earlier than i expected to ovulate????
i have a 32-33 day cycle. Last cycle started on Sept 13th, but i have a positive today even though my next period is due on October 16th??? Any thoughts? or have for the past 8 months have i been missing ovulation due to using online calculators?
Am i being naive, but i thought regardless of cycle length you ovulate 14 days BEFORE next due date??
Please help me understand whilst i go and BD like mad! ha!

Hey! I can't answer all your questions but I can tell you that a healthy diet is important but make sure you haven't limited the amount of fat too much. I had a doctor tell me that eating a cup of ice cream every day would help me conceive. I am a relatively small person, size 2, 120 pounds. Well I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and I ate ice cream daily in addition to an otherwise very healthy diet.
Also the second phase of your cycle dosen't haven't to be 14 days it can be shorter or longer by a few days. It's just usually the same every month, whereas the time between your period an ovulation varies more widely based on outside influences like stress.
