Heavy bleed at 5 weeks but positive tests
Hi everyone,
I got my BFP by seeing the words 1-2 weeks pregnant on a CB digi.
At 5 weeks pregnant I woke and basically bled pretty heavily for 2 days. I am still testing positive, which I understand can be normal after a miscarriage as your levels can still be high.
Does anyone know how long I can expect to see positive tests for or if there is any chance of a happy ending for me? X

Thank you mummyheff for your reply.
The bleeding was quite heavy and really, just like I was on my period but I didn't have any pain apart from the slight draggy feeling.
I've done a CB Digi this mornin and got a "Pregnant 1-2". I would have expected a 3+ by now.
Think I will call my doctors on Monday if I still test positive then x

I had a bleed at 11 weeks. Scared the ever living crap out of me, but the bleeding stopped, and the doctor wasn't too concerned because it didn't last long. Sure enough, had my scan at 12 weeks, and there was baby, jumping around all over the place, with a good, strong, heartbeat. Sometimes bleeding means miscarriage, but not always. Best to be evaluated by your doctor. So many things can cause bleeding in early pregnancy, don't panic and assume it's going to end badly. The fact that you didn't have any pain is a huge positive. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Hi All,
I just wanted to update that sadly this ended up as an ectopic pregnancy and unfortunately I had to have my right tube removed 10 days ago.
I am healing up well and looking to start trying again as soon as possible, I am told I can still conceive with my left tube but I just pray that this doesn't happen again.
Xxx
