Miscarriage at 11 weeks, 8 days after pregnancy test negative
I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks pregnant. I took a pregnancy test because I thought if it came back positive that would mean my levels weren't zero yet, and if it came back negative that would mean they were normal again.
It came back negative.
Does anyone think that means my levels are back to normal?
I was told to wait until after my period comes to get an ultrasound to make sure everything's okay again.
Also if my levels are normal again, when should I expect my period to come?

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a m/c at 11.5 weeks in April and had a d&c. I had a second d&c 2 weeks later for retained product (lots of symptoms, bleeding clots, enlarged uterus etc). One week after the second d&c I ovulated while I was still spotting from that second d&c which was confirmed by ultrasound. I also was still showing a faint but clear positive on a hpt! Af arrived 14 days later. The fact your hpt shows negative sounds promising that you're making a good recovery and should ovulate soon. This is just a guess of course but I feel hopeful for you. I had a miscarriage with d&c a few years ago and it took six weeks for my levels to drop but this time it was fast! I'm feeling positive that you'll be given the all clear very soon. Again I'm so sorry for this terrible disappointment you've been through. :)
